Human strength is not in knowing everything. It is in staying curious enough to keep learning.
Dr. Sheetal Temara
Cybersecurity. AI. Research. Human Judgment.

What I Do
Offensive Security
I work across application security, web application penetration testing, API security, secure code review, threat modeling, vulnerability validation, and remediation guidance. My goal is to help organizations understand real-world risk and reduce exploitable attack paths before adversaries can use them.
AI & Cybersecurity Research
My research explores how artificial intelligence can improve cybersecurity training, threat response preparedness, automation, and decision-making. I’m especially interested in the balance between AI assistance and human judgment in high-risk security environments.
Scholarly Contributions
I contribute to cybersecurity and AI scholarship through academic research, publications, peer review, and professional knowledge-sharing. My areas of interest include AI-enhanced cybersecurity, responsible data ethics, ransomware, dark web threats, deepfakes, IoT security, quantum-era cryptography, and cyber ethics.
Mentorship & Community
I care deeply about helping others grow in cybersecurity. Whether through mentoring junior engineers, supporting women and underrepresented professionals in tech, reviewing research or sharing knowledge publicly, I believe cybersecurity becomes stronger when we make room for more voices.
ScatteredBrain Newsletter
ScatteredBrain is my LinkedIn newsletter where I unpack the messy, fascinating, and sometimes uncomfortable intersections of AI, cybersecurity, human judgment, ethics, and the future of work.
It is part cyber brain dump, part research reflection, and part practical conversation created for security professionals, technologists, researchers, students, and curious readers who want to understand emerging technology without fear-based noise or unnecessary jargon.

My Philosophy
Technology is changing fast, but the need for thoughtful security has not changed.
Whether I am testing applications, researching AI in cybersecurity, writing about digital ethics, mentoring others, or contributing to scholarly work, my goal is the same: to make security more practical, responsible, and human.
Cybersecurity is not only about systems. It is about trust.
AI is not only about automation. It is about judgment.
Research is not only about publication. It is about contribution.
That is the space I work in.

AI is powerful, but judgment is still human.
